OK, so I'm not a professional photographer but I think you get the point.  Nice, neat and clean. Somewhat of a minimalist approach. 

You need to see the TV,  you need to put DVD's in the DVD player, the in-ceiling speakers are a discrete as they can be and you need to use the remote.  All the other equipment - the audio video receivers, house music amplifiers, and satellite receivers or cable boxes can be hidden away in a remote area.  You don't need to interact with them, the remotes do that for you. So why fill up your cabinetry with all of that extra gear?  Why have one satellite receiver and DVD player at each TV when you can have one of each for ALL your TV's?

Wouldn't it be great if...

• you could watch your recorded programs (or DVDs) in the living room, pause them, go to your bedroom, change into your PJ's, crawl into bed and resume playing them on your bedroom TV?
• you could have just one remote that would run all of your equipment from anywhere in the house? Not have to open cabinet doors and use multiple remotes just to watch the evening news but rather pick up a single remote, press a couple of buttons and have it all turn on for you?
• you could set your Ipod in its dock in the kitchen and hear your music anywhere in the house or yard?

YOU CAN!!  It's not that hard.  Sure, you'll probably have to drill some holes, commit to more frequent dusting during the process and break out the paintbrush when your done but what do you have when it's all done?  Why not create an environment that is pleasing to be in?
